How to use a soldering iron for solder extraction?
- Heat the soldering iron to the appropriate temperature.
- Feed the appropriate length of tape from the feeder.
- Apply the tape to the soldering point with solder.
- Place the soldering tip on the tape – the heat will melt the solder, which will penetrate the copper braid.
- If necessary, cut off the used part and repeat the operation.
- The braid has a flux layer – for better results, you can use additional rosin or flux.
