The QianLi Gorilla 6558 is a professional trinocular microscope designed for precision service work, soldering under a microscope, and diagnostics of motherboards in phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. The 6.5X–58X magnification range allows comfortable observation of both larger work areas and very small components on PCB boards.

The microscope offers smooth magnification adjustment in the 6.5X–58X range, allowing you to quickly adapt the image to the current task — from general board inspection to detailed analysis of the smallest components.

The smooth HD zoom with focus synchronization makes it easier to switch from a wider field of view to higher magnification. At higher zoom levels, the microscope allows more precise observation of solder joints, pads, BGA balls, traces, mechanical damage, and small SMD components.

The photos were taken with a phone through the microscope eyepieces to show the working image as accurately as possible. The photographs are not a perfect representation — the actual image seen directly through the microscope is sharper, more natural, and brighter.
All photos were taken without the Barlow lens.

0.7X Barlow lens included

The set includes a 0.7X Barlow lens, which increases the field of view and working distance. This is especially useful during soldering, hot air work, and handling tools under the microscope.

The 0.7X Barlow lens reduces magnification compared to the standard range but provides more space between the objective lens and the board being repaired. This makes it easier to use a soldering iron, tweezers, hot air nozzle, solder wick, flux, and other service tools.

Adjustable WF10X/23 eyepieces and comfortable work

The WF10X/23 eyepieces provide a wide field of view, make it easier to navigate the board, and increase working comfort. Diopter adjustment allows the image to be adapted to the user’s eyesight.

The microscope also allows adjustment of the eyepiece spacing, so the tubes can be matched to the user’s individual interpupillary distance, reducing eye strain during long working sessions.

Trinocular design — ready for a camera

The QianLi Gorilla 6558 features a trinocular design, meaning it has an additional optical path for connecting a microscope camera. This is a good solution for repair services that want to work simultaneously through the eyepieces and on a monitor, record repairs, or present the image to a customer.

The set includes a CTV 0.5X adapter. After installing a compatible camera, the image can be transmitted to a monitor, for example via HDMI, depending on the camera model used.

High-CRI 95% lighting, UV, and light adjustment

The microscope is equipped with an integrated High-CRI 95% lighting module, which improves detail visibility and provides more natural color reproduction. This is important when assessing the condition of a motherboard, traces, SMD components, pads, and solder quality.

The module is integrated into the microscope design, so the user does not need to use a separate LED ring or additional external lighting.


1. Turning on the light
A short press of the button turns on the light.
2. Changing modes
Holding the button for about 2 seconds starts automatic switching between three modes.
3. Mode lock
Pressing again locks the current light setting.

The three lighting modes allow illumination to be adjusted to the type of work — from general board inspection to observing small pads, traces, or BGA balls. This helps reduce reflections and achieve a clearer image.

The set also includes a UV lamp, useful for curing adhesives, UV mask, and other service materials. The lamp cover is corrosion-resistant and easy to keep clean, while the lighting module has compact dimensions of approximately 81 × 65 mm.

Precise 3D laser positioning

The microscope features coaxial 3D laser positioning, which makes it easier to quickly set the working field and locate the repair area on the motherboard.

This is a practical solution when working with PCBs, especially when you often need to return to a specific IC, connector, or repair area.


Worth remembering: a single laser beam may be slightly shifted in the camera view, but it remains centered in the binocular image.

Rear mounting frame for additional accessories

At the back of the head there is an extended metal mounting frame with 1/4” and 3/8” threads as well as ARRI-standard mounting holes. This allows additional compatible accessories, holders, adapters, or auxiliary elements to be attached to the microscope.

The expanded mounting cage increases the possibilities for upgrading the workstation and allows the microscope to be better adapted to service needs without using random mounts.

Expandable with thermal imaging

In selected configurations, the QianLi Gorilla 6558 works with the 256 IR / Super Cam X256 thermal imaging module. This is a useful solution for short-circuit diagnostics, locating overheating ICs, and faster detection of issues on the motherboard.

The thermal imaging camera can work with the QianLi Gorilla 4K HDMI camera and software for a computer or phone. This makes it possible to combine microscope and thermal imaging in one workstation.

Stable design for service work

The microscope body is made of high-quality materials, making the entire unit durable and well suited for everyday service work.

The set includes a 40 × 30 cm base, a column screwed into the base measuring 230 × 32 mm, and a 77 mm head holder. This configuration provides stable mounting and comfortable work during soldering, inspection, and motherboard diagnostics.
